Just when you thought that the gift-giving season was over, Wham!, you get hit with Valentine's Day, and the rest is now debt history. This day can really wreak havoc on your dreams of becoming debt free, at the very least it will certainly put those plans off for some time and you cannot afford to put this off for any longer. Now is the time for you to take part in the debt free America that is the new dawn. Most of us are in some kind of debt these days and we all have to do our part to make the change that will benefit us all for the long and the short term.

Make sense of the chaos

Most of us get so far from a debt free America that we do not even keep us with the minimum balances that we owe. We have so many creditors that it can be confusing to try and pay all of the different companies each month. It can develop into a state of chaos and that is really when we start to lose control of our own finances. You cannot hope to realize debt free living when there are more and more fees being tacked onto your balances every month. Over the course of a year that can really add up and put your further away from the debt free America that we are talking about here. Don't you want your kids to live in a beautiful debt free America? Sure you do, we all do, but we have to start the ball rolling with debt free programs if we are to teach them anything.

And the first thing that needs to be done is to take back the control that you have lost by making more sense of the financial situation that you are currently in.
